about
~20 second sample of music from the train scene in Buster Keaton's The General.
The tapeloop is forced to run against several rusty railroad spikes from Golden, Colorado.
The amount of pressure from the spikes causes the ribbon to skip, and eventually split in two.
The tape player is slowed down, and ran through Analog Kit with some delay/reverb.
Just imagine if these outtakes made it into EATEOT, the project would've been over seven hours! I love how "I Might Be Vanishing" is a stark contrast from other tracks, being only nine seconds. AG319 Alt Acc
